Pro-Quality Education

Every child deserves a strong foundation for a successful future. That begins with a public education system focused on core learning, real-world skills, and meaningful civic understanding. I believe Arkansas students should leave school not just prepared for the workforce—but ready for the responsibilities of self-government. That’s why I’ll champion policies that restore academic excellence, expand career pathways, and support those who shape our children’s future: teachers and parents.

Empowering Students Through Core Academic Excellence and Civic Engagement

A strong educational foundation is essential for preparing students to become informed citizens and successful members of society. That’s why I am committed to strengthening literacy, math, history, and science education in our schools. These core subjects are critical for both personal development and workforce readiness. Additionally, an emphasis on civic education will be a cornerstone of our approach, focusing on the history of our nation, the rights and responsibilities of citizens, and the importance of active participation in the democratic process.

Through the development of a rigorous civic education curriculum, we will ensure that students gain a comprehensive understanding of the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the rule of law. By teaching students about their rights and responsibilities as citizens, we will equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to contribute positively to society. This educational approach will lay the groundwork for a generation of engaged citizens, ready to participate in shaping their communities and the future of our country.

Expanding Access to Practical Pathways: Vocational Education and Workforce Preparation

While academic excellence is important, it is equally essential to provide pathways for students to succeed in the workforce. A robust education system must include vocational training and technical education that provide students with hands-on skills needed for careers in high-demand industries such as healthcare, manufacturing, technology, and construction.

These practical pathways should be accessible to all students, ensuring that regardless of whether they pursue higher education or enter the workforce directly, they have a clear path to success. Additionally, I will work to expand apprenticeship programs and industry partnerships to align with local workforce needs, ensuring our students are not just prepared to enter the job market, but are equipped with the skills employers are looking for. By offering diverse educational options, we can build a skilled workforce and strengthen Arkansas's economy.

Supporting Teachers and Parents: Streamlining Education to Focus on What Matters Most

The foundation of any strong education system rests with teachers and parents. We must reduce bureaucratic barriers and simplify processes to ensure educators have the time and resources to focus on what they do best: teaching. By doing so, we can empower teachers to provide high-quality, personalized education while enabling parents to play an active role in their children’s learning.

Additionally, I will support the implementation of interactive teaching methods, including simulations and case studies, that engage students in real-world applications of their learning, especially in civics and social studies. Together, teachers and parents will be equipped to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence in students. This collaborative approach will also promote the development of self-discipline, creativity, and teamwork, ensuring that students are not only academically prepared but also personally and socially developed.

"I’m not running for office to recite slogans — I’m running because I believe Arkansas deserves leadership rooted in respect, driven by resolve, and committed to renewal. Respect means every Arkansan, no matter where they live or who they are, is treated with dignity and heard with intention. Resolve means we don’t shy away from hard truths — we face them with courage and clarity. Renewal means we rebuild trust in our institutions and restore hope in our communities.

I believe in Common Ground because we’re stronger when we listen before we argue. I believe in Common Sense because good policy should be practical, not partisan. And I believe in the Common Good because public service should serve all, not just a few.

This isn’t just a campaign — it’s a call to come together. This is our moment."
