Because the strength of Arkansas lies in its people—and together, we can build a future grounded in integrity, service, and hope.

About Me

I’m Joshua Irby, a first-generation Arkansan who moved to Bryant in 2022 to embrace the community my wife grew up in. My family’s legacy of service—especially my father’s work providing safety and opportunity during a challenging time in Little Rock—shaped who I am today. With over 15 years in corporate security, I’ve learned the value of protection, preparedness, and service, which guide my leadership.

Why I'm Running

I’m running as a centrist civic nationalist because I believe in unity over division. I’m not a traditional Democrat or Republican, but Arkansas’ ballot laws leave independents at a disadvantage—and I chose not to run as a Republican out of respect for the delegates who voted to close their primary in 2024. Running as a Democrat is the best path to serve with integrity, put people over party, and lead with respect, resolve, and common sense to renew Arkansas.

"I’m not running for office to recite slogans — I’m running because I believe Arkansas deserves leadership rooted in respect, driven by resolve, and committed to renewal. Respect means every Arkansan, no matter where they live or who they are, is treated with dignity and heard with intention. Resolve means we don’t shy away from hard truths — we face them with courage and clarity. Renewal means we rebuild trust in our institutions and restore hope in our communities.

I believe in Common Ground because we’re stronger when we listen before we argue. I believe in Common Sense because good policy should be practical, not partisan. And I believe in the Common Good because public service should serve all, not just a few.

This isn’t just a campaign — it’s a call to come together. This is our moment."
